One of our earlier events in the 2008 calendar is the Flora London Marathon which was
held on Sunday 13th April and has been held every year since 1981. We were asked to
supply all of the chemical toilets, urinals and the disabled units at the start of the race.
We are glad to say that all went well and that our own Ben Cruise completed the 26
miles and 385 yard Marathon in 4 hours & 32 minutes, raising £3,525.00 for The
Queen’s Royal Lancers Regimental Association.
Well done to every one who took part & all being well, see you next year.
Did you know - the Flora London Marathon is the only Marathon course in the world that
is run in two hemispheres, both the East and West, as the full course crosses the Prime
Meridian in Greenwich. |
