PTL at Kew the Music

Once again this year, Portable Toilets Limited (PTL www.ptl.uk.com)  were appointed as the sanitation supplier for ‘Kew the Music’, (http://www.kewthemusic.org), a six night run of live music in the beautiful surroundings of London’s Kew Gardens.

This year saw the likes of Lewis Capaldi, Rock Astley, Craig David and Garbage, among others, entertain thousands of guests in the second week of July.

The crowd here expect high standards, as do the estate and the promoter, and who better to appoint than Portable Toilets Limited for the provision of all their portable toilets for hire.

We initially install some plastic loos for the build period; versatile, easily movable and deployable, the ‘PJ’ type loos (https://www.portabletoiletslimited.com/product/high-tech-event-loo/ ) offer great value for money for build, break and operational periods.

For this show itself though, the guests demand a little more luxury. Kew the Music have been excellent adopters of Portable Toilets Limited’s VacPod units (LINK REQUIRED), which work exceptionally well here.

A clean white exterior leads into a plush, well it interior with 5 WC cubicles, or 2 WC cubicles with 7 urinals depending on configuration. They are fresh water units, (no chemical at all), that use only 450ml of water per flush. Similar fresh water units using a mains system can use of to ten times this amount of water.

This not only reduces water usage, but the decreased servicing requirements means we’re reducing tanker vehicle movements on the road too, meaning fewer emissions!

They also come in a 13-bay urinal configuration to provide a male only option and reduce queues for the WCs.

Efficiently serviced every evening, they were sparkling and ready to go for the next day. The event organiser was delighted with the offering; a clean, fresh water loo that is highly sustainable and easy to service.

Portable Toilets loved supplying Kew the Music this year with al their portable toilets on hire and look forward to being back in Kew Gardens soon.

See you onsite.
