5 events, one wonderfully British Weekend!

Every now and then a weekend comes around in the event calendar that makes you realise just how diverse and exciting the events industry in the UK has become.

This year, that weekend was over the 10th June.

The usual suspects were all present and correct, and Download rocked Castle Donington as always, and the Isle of Wight Festival did the same in Newport.

Brighton saw the second ever Wildlife turn the place on its head, and up in London’s Victoria Park, Field Day attracted a massive turnout.

And then along came The Patron’s Lunch; a wonderfully British celebration of Her Majesty’s 90th birthday; a tea party for 10,000 people set up along the Mall. Brilliant!

And what did all these wonderful events have in common?

Rain!

Oh, and the fact that PTL supplied everything from the Royal Loo, to backstage trailers, to literally thousands of PJs for the public.

Roll on the Great British Summer!

See you onsite!
